PROVOCHOLINE© is indicated for the diagnosis of bronchial airway hyperreactivity in subjects who do not have clinically apparent asthma.

Sensitive assay

The PROVOCHOLINE© challenge is a very high sensitive test. Subjects with asthma are markedly more sensitive to methacholine induced bronchoconstriction with PROVOCHOLINE© than are healthy subjects.
