PROVOCHOLINE© is indicated for the diagnosis of bronchial airway hyperreactivity in subjects who do not have clinically apparent asthma.

Sensitive assay

The PROVOCHOLINE© challenge is a very high sensitive test. Subjects with asthma are markedly more sensitive to methacholine induced bronchoconstriction with PROVOCHOLINE© than are healthy subjects.

Because of consistent quantity and quality, PROVOCHOLINE© delivers reproducible results.

PROVOCHOLINE© challenge has a low incidence of false-negative or false-positive results.

Rapid recovery

Most patients return naturally and completely to baseline pulmonary function after 30 minutes, or within 5 minutes after administration of an inhaled beta agonist.

Rapid results
